London’s hottest live night for new music Do It Without You returns to Folklore, Hoxton on Wednesday 21st August with three exciting new acts DYSTOPIA, Finches and PUNCHBAG.

Formed in 2014, DYSTOPIA are an all women of colour East London based band. Feeling voiceless and underrepresented on the platforms they look up to, particularly as women of colour in rock/alternative music, Dystopia decided to reclaim these genres for themselves by becoming the artists they didn’t have growing up. The trio's dark psychedelic soundscapes, soaring guitar riffs, and moody vocals result in the perfect soundtrack for channeling 2000s nostalgia.

With their unapologetic attitude and irreverent sense of humour, Finches are a band that you cannot ignore for much longer. Playing and writing together seems to be the only way they avoid constantly bickering and knocking each other's heads off. No longer recording out of a bedroom, Finches have now been able to fully capture their energetic personalities with the sound of their full band set up, recorded in expert chaotic fashion by Gordon Raphael, producer of The Strokes. 

Colliding the raw unfiltered energy of punk, with the overflowing ecstasy of pop, emerges PUNCHBAG. A new electrifying brother-sister duo, from South London. With fierce tempos and ferocious energy, their music is an explosively cathartic release of raw intensity and unapologetic fun.
