New music discovery night Do It Without You returns to Folklore, Hoxton on Tuesday 20th February with performances from rising talents Liang Lawrence, Soft Launch and Dove Ellis.
Liang Lawrence is a singer-songwriter currently creating and performing in the uk. her debut ep 'letters to myself' was released in august 2023 and racked up over 1 million streams in a matter of weeks. Liang grew up in eight different countries before she was 18, and was drawn to music at an early age as a source of grounding consistency. teaching herself to play guitar and write songs from her bedroom, she found in music a way to express feelings and find a place for the messy emotions of everyday life.

Dove Ellis has built his audience so far through his captivating live performances, leading to headline sold out shows - all before any music has been released. Creating a mesmerising sound that combines alt-rock, alt-pop and r&b influences, Dove is challenging genre description with his incredibly raw, heartfelt and honest song, which pair his imaginative storytelling and eclectic production style.
