Do It Without You presents BEXY, Callinsick, Tilly Louise and Leith at Camden Assembly on Thursday 07 September 2023.
Heralded as one of Radio 1’s Future Artists, Spotify Canada’s RADAR artist, and featured on Elton John’s Rocket Hour radio show on Apple Music, Leith broke onto the scene last summer with her debut EP ‘Birthdays In July’. This year London based, Canadian born singer-songwriter released her latest single, Good Time, an energetic summer anthem that displays Leith's refreshingly frank and funny storytelling.
Tilly, aged just 23, is a born-and-raised Liverpudlian. She cites fellow city artists such as Zuzu, Pixey and Natalie McCool as local Gods she aims to emulate when it comes to flying the flag for scouse music. Her sound influences are closer to the likes of Paramore and Blondie, who write rocky pop songs with a frontwomen that never shies from performing honest yet powerful songs.
Callinsick tells stories of modern life. The Cumbria native, now London based, is gearing up to release his debut EP Lumpy, inspired by the intimate storytelling of artists such as Bob Dylan, Serge Gainsbourg, and Alex G. His music flows from sparse bedroom folk, to alternative rock, indie and sweeping ethereal pop—an amalgamation of influences and genres.
Rebekah-jane Shingleton, known as BEXY, is a singer-songwriter from the bottom of the world in a small beach town, Sumner, in Christchurch, New Zealand. Independently, Bexy has achieved over 14 million streams on Spotify alone, and last year opened for international pop star FLETCHER on her au/nz tour. Now Bexy is living in London, bravely following her heart and giving her music career all that she’s got.
